The Health Equity Office at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a full-time, contract Bilingual (French/English) CH&E Specialist (Knowledge Broker)for the Immigrant and Refugee Mental Health Project (IRMHP). Reporting to the Manager of Health Equity, the CH&E Specialist (Knowledge Broker) will play a lead role in providing knowledge users with evidence-informed content and actions related to the IRMHP project.
In this role, your ability to understand and synthesize research and other forms of evidence will be integral to the process used to develop content for the online course, website and related content, including: targeted knowledge resources, capacity building materials, tips that help promote the IRMHP, and tailored content for this initiative. Tasks will also include organizing and running online meetings, tracking expenses, writing meeting minutes and progress reports. You will have an understanding of the social determinants of health and the principles of health equity and how these apply in the context of knowledge exchange and evidence-informed decision making processes. You will work collaboratively with the project team, other CAMH staff and external partners.
