Le rapport met en \u00e9vidence les pratiques en vigueur dans le RCE en ce qui concerne la gouvernance ax\u00e9e sur les retomb\u00e9es, et le suivi et l\u2019\u00e9valuation des retomb\u00e9es. <\/em><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/researchimpact.ca\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/NCE-logo.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/researchimpact.ca\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/NCE-logo.gif\" alt=\"NCE-RCE logo\" width=\"372\" height=\"39\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-8898\" \/><\/a>Network of Centres of Excellence<br \/>\nKnowledge Mobilization Symposium 2016<br \/>\nJune 27, 2016<br \/>\nPeter Gilgan Centre, Hospital for Sick Children<br \/>\nToronto, Canada<br \/>\nMessage from the Chair<br \/>\nNeuroDevNet was pleased to host the second annual NCE Knowledge Mobilization Symposium held in conjunction with the 10th anniversary celebrations of York University\u2019s Knowledge Mobilization Unit and the 5th Annual Canadian Knowledge Mobilization Forum. The Symposium focused on the impacts of  research: how we govern for impact (morning) and how we assess and monitor impact (afternoon). The NCE program is uniquely designed to generate socioeconomic impacts for Canadians from investments in research and training. The Symposium attracted over 50 participants from NCE Networks, NCE Knowledge  Mobilization Networks and Centres of Excellence for Commercialization and Research.<br \/>\nThe session was designed in a world caf\u00e9 format where the wisdom from networks was distilled through an  experiential process. Attendees were asked to self-select into groups around the discussion table (focus  question) of their choice. Discussions around each breakout table addressed a different focus  questions related to governance and monitoring for impact. The wisdom was collected through verbal  report back and through the written  reporting  from  each table.<br \/>\nThis  report  summarizes  some  of  the  key  points  arising  from  the  discussions  and  presents  the feedback received on each topic based on large group report back and written notes collected<br \/>\nfrom each breakout table. There are no definitive answers to these very complex challenges but what is  clear is the diversity of approaches used among the networks based on the type and stage of each. Le Symposium portait principalement sur les retomb\u00e9es de la recherche, la fa\u00e7on dont nous les g\u00e9rons (matin\u00e9e) et la fa\u00e7on dont nous les \u00e9valuons et les surveillons (apr\u00e8s-midi). Le programme des RCE est sp\u00e9cialement con\u00e7u pour g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des retomb\u00e9es socio-\u00e9conomiques d\u00e9coulant des investissements dans la recherche et la formation au profit des Canadiens. Le Symposium a attir\u00e9 plus de 50 participants des r\u00e9seaux de centres d\u2019excellence, des r\u00e9seaux de mobilisation des connaissances des RCE et des centres d\u2019excellence en commercialisation et en recherche.<br \/>\nLa s\u00e9ance a pris la forme d\u2019un \u00ab World Caf\u00e9 \u00bb o\u00f9 l\u2019on a recueilli les connaissances des r\u00e9seaux pass\u00e9es au crible de l\u2019exp\u00e9rience. On a demand\u00e9 aux participants de choisir eux-m\u00eames des groupes autour de la table de discussion (question centrale) de leur choix. Les d\u00e9bats tenus \u00e0 chaque table portaient sur des questions diff\u00e9rentes ayant trait \u00e0 la gouvernance et \u00e0 la surveillance des retomb\u00e9es. Les Connaissances ont \u00e9t\u00e9 recueillies au moyen de comptes rendus oraux et de rapports \u00e9crits \u00e9tablis par chaque table.<br \/>\nLe pr\u00e9sent rapport r\u00e9sume les principaux points d\u00e9coulant des discussions et fait \u00e9tat des commentaires formul\u00e9s sur chaque sujet dans le compte rendu du groupe en s\u00e9ance pl\u00e9ni\u00e8re et les notes \u00e9crites recueillies \u00e0 chaque table de discussion. Il n\u2019y a pas de r\u00e9ponse d\u00e9finitive \u00e0 ces d\u00e9fis tr\u00e8s complexes, mais ce  qui  ressort clairement, c\u2019est la diversit\u00e9 des approches adopt\u00e9es par les r\u00e9seaux en fonction de leur type et de leur \u00e9volution.
