We bring outstanding researchers together with community partners to co-create knowledge for action \u2013knowledge that is mobilized to improve the social, cultural and economic well-being of communities throughout our region and around the globe. Here\u2019s a look at some of our projects with community partners in 2014.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u00c0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Victoria, l\u2019unit\u00e9 Partenariats en recherche et Mobilisation des connaissances (Research Partnerships and Knowledge Mobilization unit, RPKM) est un portail ouvert aux gens du campus et de la communaut\u00e9, destin\u00e9 \u00e0 soutenir et \u00e0 renforcer la recherche transformatrice. Nous r\u00e9unissons des chercheurs exceptionnels et des partenaires de la communaut\u00e9 afin qu\u2019ils cr\u00e9ent ensemble un savoir en action \u2013 un savoir mobilis\u00e9 dans le but d\u2019am\u00e9liorer le bien-\u00eatre social, culturel et \u00e9conomique des collectivit\u00e9s de notre r\u00e9gion et du monde entier. After all, research is most beneficial when everyone can access it. That\u2019s why we\u2019ve helped more than 400 faculty researchers participate in the \u201cFaces of UVic Research\u201d video series, a collection of interviews created to increase the accessibility of research being done at the university.<br \/>\nSince its launch in 2012, researchers in each of these videos have been providing a snapshot of their research on everything from aging to music to zoology, giving viewers a taste of their work and how it relates to the world around us.<br \/>\nPartnering with UVic Communications and Marketing, RPKM coordinates filming sessions and arranges schedules between faculty and the film crew so that our researchers can share their work with as wide an audience as possible.<br \/>\nWant to learn more about the exciting research being done at UVic?
