{"id":12416,"date":"2011-06-03T09:19:13","date_gmt":"2011-06-03T13:19:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/researchimpact.ydsinc.ca\/post-cards-from-congress-day-6\/"},"modified":"2021-11-23T15:55:29","modified_gmt":"2021-11-23T20:55:29","slug":"post-cards-from-congress-day-6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/researchimpact.ca\/fr\/archive\/post-cards-from-congress-day-6\/","title":{"rendered":"Post Cards From Congress \u2013 Day 6"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There are not many people who do not like music.\u00a0 Music has an ability to entertain, inspire and relax people.\u00a0 Similarly, so has Congress this year in Fredericton.<br \/>\nSo in honour of my 13.5 hour car ride I am pleased to share with you these tunes from my iPod &#8211; a real compilation of Congress moments for ResearchImpact!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=wfPT0ODaM1Q\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Even in the Quietest Moments &#8211; Supertramp<\/a><br \/>\nThe bookfair is not always a steady stream of conversation, but in 6 days it has produced incredible dialogue at the ResearchImpact booth, often when least expected!\u00a0 In our six days we have had 170 visits to the booth and over 100 conversations about knowledge mobilization, including students and community leaders.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=-wcjBU8zbdY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ordinary Day &#8211; Great Big Sea<\/a><br \/>\nPerhaps a more appropriate title would be Extraordinary Day.\u00a0 Maritime hospitality has been in full display at UNB.\u00a0 I am certainly looking forward to our next visit to Fredericton!\u00a0 And, if you&rsquo;re looking for a more authentic maritime music experience, check out <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brollachan.org\">www.brollachan.org<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=H67uEgRZs2Y\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Space Between &#8211; Dave Matthews Band<\/a><br \/>\nWhether it&rsquo;s SSH and S&amp;T, or KMb and Social Innovation, or perhaps broader community-university engagement, knowledge brokers from RIR are active in navigating the space between.<br \/>\nAnd now that my day is done, it&rsquo;s time for&#8230;<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/slideslinger#p\/u\/13\/NGWlSMFNRag\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer &#8211; George Thorogood and the Destroyers<\/a><br \/>\nOK, maybe two beers, one water and an early wake up call&#8230; Day 7 awaits!<br \/>\n[youtube http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=-wcjBU8zbdY?rel=0]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are not many people who do not like music.\u00a0 Music has an ability to entertain, inspire and relax people.\u00a0 Similarly, so has Congress this year in Fredericton.
