The project is engaging the City of Toronto; the Regions of York, Peel, and Durham; the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), and the Association for Canadian Educational Resources (The Gateway Project). This project is generously funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council.<br \/>\nPlacement Details<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> There are a total of five internship placements, each valued at $10,000 (before deductions)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li> One internship (York Region) will take place from March to June 2011. The 4 remaining internships will take place in Summer 2011 (May-August).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li> There is one placement each with the Environment and Policy offices of:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li> The City of Toronto (<a href=\"http:\/\/toronto.ca\">toronto.ca<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li> The Region of Durham (<a href=\"http:\/\/durham.ca\">durham.ca<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>York Region (<a href=\"http:\/\/york.ca\">york.ca<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (<a href=\"http:\/\/trca.on.ca\">trca.on.ca<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>The Gateway Project<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Eligibility Requirements<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Must be eligible to work in Canada<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li> Graduate students (Masters and PhD) currently enrolled or graduates who have fulfilled all degree requirements after January 1st, 2011.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>For the York Region placement, only recent graduates are eligible to apply (please see job description for further details)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In order to apply, please send your resume and covering letter to:<br \/>\nAndrei Sedoff,<br \/>\nKnowledge Mobilization Officer, Office of Research Services<br \/>\n<a href=\"mailto:asedoff@yorku.ca\">asedoff@yorku.ca<\/a><br \/>\n416-736-2100 Ext 44310<br \/>\nCandidates are allowed to apply to multiple placements.
