We are excited to announce the winners and honourable mentions of the Research Impact Canada Engaged Scholarship Award! This award recognizes graduate students who have demonstrated exceptional engaged scholarship, co-creation of knowledge or integrated knowledge translation. We are proud to celebrate their outstanding contribution to promoting research impact.

This year’s Research Impact Canada Engaged Scholarship Award winners are as follow:

Doctoral students and recent doctoral graduates category:

The award recipients and those who have received honourable mentions will receive:

  • A complimentary registration to the 2024 Canadian Knowledge Mobilization Forum
  • An invitation to present on their engaged research project virtually- they will have an opportunity to share their engaged research project in a panel discussion in May 2023 so be sure to watch our social media channels for when registration for this virtual event opens.
  • A post on the RIC website featuring their engaged research project
  • A social media post on LinkedIn and Twitter directing people to the post on the RIC website featuring their engaged research project

A cash prize of $3000 CAD will be awarded to each winner in the doctoral students and recent doctoral graduates category and $2000 CAD will be awarded to each winner in the Masters’ students and recent Masters’ graduates category.
