Not Your Typical Annual Meeting

Research Impact Canada hosts an annual meeting for our members as an opportunity to connect, exchange ideas and resources, and imagine initiatives and priorities for Research Impact Canada’s future. It’s become one of our most well-received activities.

We plan a robust agenda, with workshops, guest speakers, and opportunities for network members to showcase and share their work within their own institutions. See an example here.

What our members are saying

RIC provides useful tools, webinars, blog posts, newsletters that help to stay abreast of the burgeoning field of knowledge mobilization. In addition to the quality of its activities, what hooks me to this network is the community behind it. The network is a safe and dynamic platform for testing ideas, discussing mistakes, seeking advice from other members. It’s like having access to a brain trust of knowledge mobilization advisors!
There is more Knowledge Mobilization activity at the University of Winnipeg, which is directly related to our membership in Research Impact Canada. It makes me better at my job when I can get out and share what I have learned with people here on campus.
RIC has been great for finding different pathways for all of us across campus to work together, and we’ve also certainly, in the last year, pioneered some shared training opportunities on campus.
