Job Posting: Research Coordinator (Knowledge Translation) position at the Toronto Dementia Research Alliance (TDRA) housed at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health

Check out this exciting opportunity with the Toronto Dementia Research Alliance (TDRA) is currently seeking to fill a full-time one-year Research Coordinator position.

The TDRA was established in 2012 as a result of the collaboration between the University of Toronto, Baycrest, Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, and the University Health Network. TDRA work in collaboration to better understand, prevent and treat dementia by strengthening the connection between basic science and clinical research, incorporating research into care, improving outreach and education to the community, and increasing the efficiency of collaborative research processes across Toronto.

The successful candidate will support TDRA’s work on knowledge translation, communications and community engagement. More specifically, he/she will create engaging, accessible web- and paper-based content that clearly communicates their goals and achievements. The Research Coordinator will also lead their Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC), who play a large role in shaping the clinical research undertaken by the TDRA research community and TDRA’s strategic goals and direction. Furthermore, the Research Coordinator will support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourage teamwork and complies with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements.
