Located in the heart of the nation’s capital, Saint Paul University (est. 1848) is the founding college of the University of Ottawa, with which it has been federated since 1965. A bilingual institution, it offers undergraduate and graduate study programs. Proud of its rich heritage, over the years Saint Paul University (SPU) has evolved into an institution whose primary focus is on the multiple facets of the human experience. The University is a hub for innovation through its research efforts and contributes to social, economic and community development. Our strengths are in bridging areas of research and knowledge (e.g., Catholic and secular, English and French), as well as offering a unique angle in leadership through spirituality. Being of a small size, it is within the mandate of the office of the Associate Vice-Rector Research and Innovation, to develop a research strategic plan, including a plan on Knowledge Mobilization.
