Innovating for Impact: Evaluation and Learning in Canada’s Skills Ecosystem

On February 19, 2025, the FSC Community of Practice, in collaboration with Research Impact Canada and Blueprint, hosted a peer learning group on “Innovating for Impact: Evaluation and Learning in Canada’s Skills Ecosystem.” In this session, we discussed myths and misconceptions about evaluation and showcased practical evaluation tools and resources that participants can use in their day-to-day work. The goal of the peer learning group was for organizations to share initiatives where they have successfully conducted evidence generation in the skills and workforce development sector. Marshal Rodrigues, Associate Director of Blueprint led the primer presentation.

The video recording of the presentation, along with the presentation slide deck and a collection of valuable resources gathered over the course of these insightful discussions, are included here.
