On August 17, 2023, Research Impact Canada and the University of Calgary‘s Knowledge Engagement team hosted a webinar on “Research Impact Assessment: New Approaches and Resources.”
Led by University of Calgary’s Knowledge Engagement Manager Stephanie Warner, and Knowledge Engagement Specialist Sarelle Azuelos, the webinar explored emerging movements on research impact assessment in Canada and a new way to assess research focusing on collaborative and community-engaged research. Participants learned how designing and completing evaluations alongside research partners can lead to more inclusive and equitable research impact assessments. Lastly, an interactive run-through of the Knowledge Engagement Impact Assessment Toolkit was demonstrated.
