The Knowledge to Impact team at the University of Calgary offers support in partnership matchmaking, research collaboration and application development, and knowledge mobilization planning. The KI team hosts an active knowledge engagement community of practice, develops tools such as the Knowledge Engagement Impact Assessment Toolkit, and offers a robust programme of capacity building activities.
As a signatory of the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA), the University of Calgary is deeply committed to ethical and inclusive methods of research impact assessment. To implement the recommendations of DORA, the KI team engages in campus consultation and the curation and development of supporting resources and tools for use by researchers in managing, measuring and reporting on research impact.
