Pathways to Jobs: Microcredentials, Work-Integrated Learning, and Labour Market Information

On April 24, 2025, the FSC Community of Practice, in collaboration with Research Impact Canada and Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium (EMC), hosted a peer learning group on “Pathways to Jobs: Microcredentials, Work-Integrated Learning, and Labour Market Information.” In this session, we discussed how to upskill employees while aligning development with the organization’s goals. The goal of the peer learning group was for organizations to share initiatives where they have implemented applied learning in the workplace. Jean-Pierre Giroux, President, EMC led the primer presentation.

The video recording of the presentation, along with the presentation slide deck and a collection of valuable resources gathered over the course of these insightful discussions, are included here.
